Bundles are catalog items that contain other catalog items, sold at a different (usually discounted) total.
Create a bundle
- New catalog item → toggle "Bundle".
- Add child items with quantity per child.
- Set the bundle price (or let it auto-compute as sum-of-children minus discount).
When a quote uses a bundle, it shows as one line by default, but the rep can expand to show line-item detail if the client wants it. The accounting always uses the per-child unit prices for proper revenue recognition.
When to bundle
- Recurring offerings that always include the same set (e.g. "Starter retainer" = strategy + production + analytics).
- Cross-sell prompts ("buy A, get B at 20% off") become a bundle the rep can drop in.
