Getting started with Contracts

In-house electronic signature with multi-signer support, audit trail and tamper-evident PDFs — no third-party vendor.

The Contracts module handles the full lifecycle: draft → send → sign → audit-trail PDF. No DocuSign, no Adobe Sign — signatures live in your platform.

Three ways to start a contract

  • From a template: pick from your library (NDA, services agreement, contractor, etc.) and fill the variables.
  • Generate with AI: describe the contract you need in 1-2 sentences; an AI agent drafts the full body.
  • Blank: paste your own text or upload a PDF/Word file for AI extraction.

Send for signature

  1. Open the contract → "Send for signature".
  2. Add signers: name, email, role (each gets their own magic link).
  3. Pick signing order: sequential (one at a time) or parallel (all at once).
  4. Click "Send". Each signer receives an email with a secure link.

What happens after signing

When the last signer signs, OMB Cloud locks the document, generates a final PDF with an audit-trail appendix (signers, IPs, timestamps, IP geolocation), and files it in Drive under the company's folder. The lead timeline reflects the signed status.

Tips

  • Use templates for everything you send more than twice. The five minutes you spend building a template saves hours over a year.
  • The verification URL on the final PDF lets any third party validate the signature without needing OMB Cloud access.
