Attach files to leads and companies

Drag-and-drop files into any CRM record and they auto-file into the right folder.

Files attached to leads, companies and contacts automatically land in the right Drive folder.

Attach from the CRM

  1. Open any lead, company or contact record.
  2. Click the "Files" tab.
  3. Drag a file from your computer onto the drop zone, or click "Add file" and pick from your local disk.

OMB Cloud uploads the file to Drive under the corresponding company folder, then registers the link with the record.

Attach from Drive

To link a file already in your Drive, click "Add from Drive" — a picker shows your Drive tree. Selecting a file creates the link without duplicating the file.

Versioning

If you upload a file with the same name as an existing one, Drive treats it as a new version. The previous version remains accessible from Drive's history. Use this for iterating on a contract draft before sending for signature.

Tips

  • Tag files with type (Contract, Quote, Brief, Brand Asset) for easier filtering inside the CRM record.
  • Files are scope-aware: deleting a lead doesn't delete the files (they remain in Drive), only the link.
