Troubleshooting: files not appearing in Drive

When uploads succeed in OMB Cloud but don't land in Drive — three checks.

Files uploaded in OMB Cloud not appearing in your Drive? Run through these in order.

Check 1: connector token

OAuth tokens expire or get revoked. Open /app/drive and look for a "Reconnect required" banner. If you see it, reconnect — pending uploads will retry automatically.

Check 2: root folder permissions

If you originally connected with the drive.file scope and later moved the OMB Cloud root folder outside the OAuth scope, OMB Cloud loses write access. Either move the root back or upgrade to drive scope.

Check 3: Drive storage quota

Google Drive accounts have storage limits. If you're at quota, uploads silently fail. Check your Drive storage in Drive settings. Free up space or upgrade your plan.

Manual retry

OMB Cloud keeps a "pending uploads" log under /app/drive → "Sync queue". Click "Retry all" once the underlying issue is fixed.

Verify with Drive search

Sometimes the file is there but in an unexpected folder (e.g., your Workspace admin moved the root). Search Drive directly for the filename — if it appears, the file synced but the link in OMB Cloud may need refreshing.
