Time tracking turns project work into invoiceable units. OMB Cloud supports both real-time stopwatch and after-the-fact manual entry.
Start a timer
- Open the task you're working on.
- Click the stopwatch icon. The timer runs in the corner of the dashboard.
- Click stop when done. The entry saves automatically with the start/end times.
Manual entry
For work you forgot to time live: open the task, "Add time entry", enter date, hours and a short note. Backdating up to 14 days is allowed; older entries require manager approval.
Hourly rates
Each user has a default hourly rate (settable from /app/perfil). Projects can override the rate per-engagement. Reports show value alongside hours.
Export for invoicing
From the project, "Export time entries" produces a CSV or PDF time-sheet that attaches to the invoice. Or use "Generate invoice from time" to draft an invoice directly with line-items per task.
Tips
- Run a weekly review: filter your entries for the last 7 days, fix any missing rows. Letting it slip past two weeks always means lost revenue.
- Time entries are auditable — supervisors can see who logged what, when. Use this for QA, not surveillance.
