The quotation template is a visual layout built from blocks: header (logo + company info), line-items grid, totals, terms, footer. Customize once, use forever.
Open the builder
- Go to
/app/quotations→ "Templates" → "New template" (or edit existing). - The drag-drop builder opens with a default starter layout.
- Update header block: logo, company name, tax ID, address (pulled from your billing entity).
- Adjust the line-items grid: which columns appear (description, qty, unit price, discount, total), how each is styled.
- Customize footer: terms paragraph, payment instructions, contact info.
Brand controls
Set primary color, secondary color, accent color, and pick your typography pair (Heading font + Body font). Changes apply globally to the template.
Per-entity templates
If you have multiple billing entities (one per country, one per brand), each can have its own template. The quote picks the right template based on which entity is issuing.
Tips
- Keep the line-items grid narrow — 4-5 columns max. Wide tables look amateurish at A4.
- Put your most-important legal terms inline on the PDF, not "see attached terms." Inline reads as confident.
- Test the PDF with a long company name and an exotic character (ñ, ç, é). Font fallbacks expose themselves here.
