Getting started with Quotations

Generate branded PDF quotes from your catalog, send for approval, and move accepted quotes into contracts.

Quotations is where pricing conversations become signable documents. Pull line items from the Catalog, apply discounts, add terms, send as a branded PDF.

Create your first quote

  1. Go to /app/quotations → "New quote".
  2. Pick the company and primary contact (from the CRM).
  3. Add line items from the Catalog. Adjust quantity, unit price, discount.
  4. Choose the template — your branded PDF design.
  5. Send via email or generate a public URL the prospect can view + accept online.

Statuses

A quote moves through: draft → sent → viewed → accepted / rejected / expired. Each status change appears on the linked lead's timeline and triggers any configured automations (e.g. "if accepted, move lead to Won and create contract").

Expiration

Quotes carry an expiration date (default 30 days). After expiration, the public URL shows "expired" and the prospect must request a new quote. Tune the default under /app/quotations settings.

Tips

  • Build a small catalog of "starter packages" so reps don't start from scratch each time.
  • Use the AI agent to draft quotes from a chat conversation — it pulls line items from the catalog based on what the prospect described.
