Pick the right keywords
Three buckets:
- Brand — your name and variations.
- Money — bottom-funnel queries with buying intent ("crm software for agencies").
- Top-funnel — informational queries that bring people who don't know you yet ("how to write a great quote").
Localization
Each keyword has a market (US, MX, ES, BR, FR). Rankings are pulled from that market's SERP — never a global average.
Alerts
Set thresholds: "alert me if drop > 5 positions" or "alert when entering top 3". Alerts go to email or Slack.
Tracking limits
Default plan tracks 100 keywords; enterprise scales higher. Refresh frequency is daily for keywords in your top 50, weekly below.
