Connect Google Drive

OAuth-based Google Drive connection with optional folder scoping.

The Google Drive connector uses Google OAuth — your password never reaches OMB Cloud and you can revoke from Google Account settings any time.

Steps

Open /app/drive → "Connect Google Drive".
Sign in via the OAuth popup with the Google account that owns the target Drive.
Review scopes: drive.file (recommended — limits OMB Cloud to files it creates) or drive (full access).
Pick a root folder or let OMB Cloud create one named "OMB Cloud".

Workspace admin policies

If your Google Workspace admin restricts Marketplace apps, the OAuth screen will fail. Ask your admin to allow OMB Cloud in the Workspace Marketplace allow-list.

Permissions

drive.file: OMB Cloud can read, create and modify only files it creates or that users explicitly share with it. Privacy-friendly default.
drive: full read/write on the Drive. Use only if you want to import existing folders into the OMB Cloud structure.
