Troubleshooting: PDF rendering issues

Misaligned tables, missing logos, weird fonts — common rendering issues and fixes.

PDF rendering issues fall into four buckets. Walk through them in order.

Misaligned tables

Tables go off the page when the description column carries text that wraps unexpectedly. Solutions: shorten descriptions to under 80 characters, or reduce the description column width and increase the quantity/price columns. Test with a long-description sample line.

Missing logo

The logo upload silently fails if the image is over 2MB or in an unsupported format (only PNG, JPG, SVG accepted). Re-upload with a logo under 1MB and 800px wide max.

Weird fonts

If your template uses a font OMB Cloud doesn't have, the PDF falls back to system serif. Switch to one of the bundled fonts (Inter, Ubuntu, IBM Plex) in template settings, or upload your custom WOFF2 font under Brand kit.

Wrong currency or formatting

The PDF's currency comes from the billing entity, not the user. If a quote shows USD when you expected EUR, the issuer entity has the wrong currency. Edit the billing entity under /app/master-billing → "Billing entities" → pick yours → currency.

Right-to-left or accented characters

Accented characters and most non-Latin scripts (Cyrillic, Greek, basic Asian) render correctly. Right-to-left scripts (Arabic, Hebrew) need a template flag — contact support if you need this.
